Easy & Healthy Banana Bread 🍌

Ingredients:

  • 90g rolled oats
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 50ml honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 30g vanilla whey protein powder
  • 50g Noshu no sugar chocolate baking chips
  • 1 tsp butter (for greasing)
  • Flaky salt (for topping, to taste)
  • Optional: Peanut butter

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Grease a loaf pan with 1 tsp of butter to prevent sticking.
  2. In a blender, add rolled oats, bananas, honey, eggs, baking soda, and vanilla whey protein powder. Blend until you get a smooth, thick batter.
  3. Pour the blended mixture into the greased pan and gently stir in the Noshu chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.
  4. Place the mixture into the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  5. Once the banana bread is out of the oven, sprinkle some flaky salt on top while it's still warm. Allow the bread to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
  6. Optional: Drizzle some peanut butter or Nutella on top for extra flavour.
  7. Slice and serve! Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
